Hey, I'm Katie Danielle Harrison the owner of Creative Touch Ltd. I'm a potter working in a small studio in Cheshire. I have spent the last 7 years living and dreaming all things pottery after graduating in Derby after completing a three year university degree in Creative Expressive Therapies. This was a great introduction into the ceramic world and the therapeutic principles and benefits of using such a manipulative material to the mind, body and soul. The course involved hand building, making moulds, creating life sized sculptures and learning different ways of making. Since then I've focused on the potter’s wheel, developing my throwing skills and taking commissions. Whilst sharing my ceramics knowledge and experience with adults and children in many studios and throughout several workshops.

I commissioned Katie to create a plant pot for my Dad as a Christmas present. I wanted the plant pot to be able to be used indoor and outdoors! The plant pot is perfect and exactly what I envisioned! Whilst looking through Katie’s website I fell in love with a vase that was already made and for sale. I knew I had to have it. Both pieces are amazing and I’m extremely happy with my purchases. Would 100% recommend!

I really enjoy creating bespoke commissions and working together with you to create completely bespoke ceramics, reflecting your own style and personality. I take time to get to know your visions, design ideas and desired colours. Whether you’re looking for something personalised as a gift for family or a friends, or want to treat yourself to a special coffee mug or maybe you’re after a new plant pot to match your new interior design. You may have even seen something you like but would prefer it in a different size or coloured glaze to suit your taste, the possibilities are endless. Ultimately that's what is so exciting about pottery and got me interested at the beginning.
All of the ceramics are made by my very own hands from the clay in it's natural form to the finished product therefore when it comes to bespoke pieces, prices may vary from one customer to the next depending on the size, shape, design and glaze required.
